Dougal Swan
I was trained in London and after qualification in 1978 continued to work in the City of London and latterly the West End, before deciding that the attractions of life outside the capital were irresistible.
I joined Smith & Graham in December 1990 and became a partner in 1991.
I am the firm's de facto Managing Partner and head of the firm's Civil Litigation and Commercial Units, working closely with my fellow partners and solicitors to continually enhance the levels of service provided by the firm. I also fulfil the role of the firms Partner handling complaints.
My chosen area of practice is now firmly concentrated across commercial litigation, commercial contract work, employment and complex areas of conveyancing.
I am a keen golfer. I enjoy sailing when the opportunity presents itself and the development of my garden. World history and archaeology are of particular interest.
