Dougal Swan

I was trained in London and after qualification in 1978 continued to work in the City of London and latterly the West End, before deciding that the attractions of life outside the capital were irresistible.

I joined Smith & Graham in December 1990 and became a partner in 1991.

I am the firm's Managing Partner and head of the firm's Civil Litigation and Commercial Units, working closely with my fellow partners and solicitors to continually enhance the levels of service provided by the firm. I also fulfil the role of head of complaints.

My chosen area of practice is now firmly concentrated across commercial litigation, commercial contract work, employment and complex areas of conveyancing.

I am a keen, if poor, golfer. I enjoy sailing when the opportunity presents itself and the development of my garden. World history and archaeology are of particular interest.

Lynne Robinson

In 2004 I was admitted as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives.

I specialise in residential conveyancing and offer an expert local knowledge of the area.

Liz Smith (Commercial Property)

I graduated from the University of Wales and practiced in Newcastle upon Tyne before joining the commercial department at Smith and Graham in 2005. I specialise in complex commercial and domestic conveyancing.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my young son.
